Prayer Chain
Members and friends of our church pray in many ways, including through the prayer chain, which is organized via email. To request a prayer, please send an email to prayerchain@fpcdenton.org. Your prayer request will then be forwarded out to the chain’s prayer flock. If you’d like to join the chain or if you have any questions, send a message to the same email.
History of the Prayer Chain
On February 26, 1958, First Presbyterian Church began its Prayer Group with eleven members. Then, in 1977, it launched the Prayer Chain, which continues to this day.
Request a Prayer
To request a prayer, please send an email to prayerchain@fpcdenton.org or complete a prayer request slip located in the attendance pads distributed before worship. If desired, the name (First Name, Last Initial) can appear in the prayer list in the service bulletin or be included amongst the prayers spoken during worship. You may also keep your prayer request confidential if you prefer.
